Officials from the Iranian army held a ceremony at the Zoroastrian cemetery to pay tribute to the Zoroastrian martyrs.
The commemoration took place at Qasr Firouzeh Cemetery, with key figures in attendance, including Hujjatul Islam Efati, the ideological and cultural deputy of the army headquarters, Kourosh Azarghoshasbi, the deputy head of the Tehran Zoroastrian Association, Mobed Hormoz Khosroviani, Firouz Khosroviani, and Fereydoun Rouyintan, head of the cemetery. Brigadier General Mohammadreza Fouladi and Kourosh Azarghoshabi addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance and sacrifice of the martyrs.
After the speeches, the attendees, led by Babak Shahriari, the moderator of the Tehran Zoroastrian Association and the Firouzeh Palace Cemetery’s executive board, visited the graves of the martyrs, honoring their bravery with floral tributes. They also paid their respects at the grave of Mehraban Noushiravani, a recently deceased Zoroastrian war veteran, and concluded the ceremony with a visit to the tomb of Golrokh Mehri, a martyred Zoroastrian woman.
