Sirous Sepehri, the Benevolent Friend of Newlyweds, Passed Away

Sirous Sepehri, a kind-hearted Zoroastrian and cherished supporter of newlyweds, passed away on 24 Aban 1403 (November 25, 2024) in Tehran.

Born on 11 Mordad 1317 (August 2, 1938) in Kerman, he was the son of Golestan and Abadan. He married Azarmidokht Shahriari, with whom he had two children, Atousa and Arastoo Sepehri.

Sirous Sepehri left this world on Saturday, 3 Aban 1403, corresponding to November 25, 2024, in Tehran. His funeral will be held on Monday, 5 Aban (November 27, 2024) at 3:00 PM at Ghasr-e Firouzeh in Tehran.

For those wishing to attend, a bus will depart from Salmas Square at 2:00 PM and head to Ghasr-e Firouzeh.

A memorial ceremony for the late Sirous Sepehri will be held on Thursday, 8 Aban (November 29, 2024) from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Iraj Hall.

Sirous Sepehri grew up in Kerman, where he lost his father at a young age. This tragedy led to a strong emotional connection with his older brother, Colonel Arastoo Sepehri.

After the death of his brother, Arastoo Sepehri, in 1976, Sirous Sepehri, along with his other brothers—Mehrban, Iraj, Shapour, and Daryoush—decided to use the inheritance left by Colonel Arastoo Sepehri to build a building in his name. Despite facing numerous challenges, including the upheavals of the revolution, property seizures, shortages, and discrimination, Sirous remained resolute. Through perseverance and quiet determination, he successfully completed the construction of the Colonel Arastoo Sepehri Building. In 1990, he donated the property to the Zoroastrian Association of Tehran, with the aim of offering a space for newlyweds.

Sirous Sepehri was a philanthropist who lived a life of joy and shared that happiness with others.

Amordad extends its heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones and wishes for a long and prosperous life for those he left behind.
