5 memorial cypress trees planted in Marker Tehran Pars

On February 14, 2026 (25 Bahman 1404), when the public memorial service coincided with Urmazd day of the month of Esfand, five cypress saplings were planted at the Marker Tehranpars Religious and Cultural Center. The trees were planted as enduring symbols of strength and remembrance, honoring a number of writers and benefactors whose contributions left a meaningful legacy.

On this occasion, Barsam Publishing dedicated five cypress trees to individuals who had collaborated with or supported the publication. The cypress, a longstanding emblem of endurance and continuity, was chosen as a tribute of gratitude and respect.

The trees were planted as enduring symbols and strength, and in memory of a number of writers:

The late:

Mobed Kourosh Niknam, author of Golbanoo

Touran Bahrami Shahriari, poet of Divan-e Touran

Farshad Salamati, author of Karbafi, Pig va Pigrani

The names of two late benefactors who supported the publishing house were also commemorated:

Azarmidokht Hormozan

Bolbolbanoo Kiani

Dinaz Dehnadi, Managing Director of Barsam Publishing, told Amordad that the planting of the cypress trees serves as a gesture of appreciation for the lives and values of individuals whose writing, thought, and goodwill created a lasting and meaningful impact.
