Mobeds Mehraban Pouladi and Ardeshir Khorshidian, accompanied by the students of Dinyari Elementary School, held a commemorative ceremony marking the passing of Ashu Zarathushtra at the Gahambar Khaneh of Yazd.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday, 3 Dey 1404 (24 December 2025), and opened with the recitation of Afrinegan prayers by Mobeds Ardeshir Khorshidian and Rostam Kavousian Zadeh. This was followed by speeches delivered to the attendees by Mobed Mehraban Pouladi, chairman of the Association of Mobeds, and Mobed Ardeshir Khorshidian. The program concluded with refreshments served to the students.
In the Zoroastrian calendar, the day of Khorshid (Goodness) Izad of the month of Dey, corresponding to 5 Dey 1404 (26 December 2025), marks the anniversary of the eternal passing of the sole messenger of the Iranian land, Ashu Zarathushtra Mehraspand.
Dinyari Elementary School is the only boys-only Zoroastrian elementary school in Yazd Province, and it is under the management of Fariba Gheibi.
