In collaboration with the German Zoroastrian Association, a scholarly webinar on “The Contemporary History of Zoroastrians from the Qajar Iran, upto date will be held via Zoom.
Dr. Mehdi Vazini Afzal, researcher at the University of Hamburg and faculty member at the University of Jiroft, Iran, will examine the social, cultural, and legal developments—opportunities and challenges—faced by the Iranian Zoroastrian community over the past two centuries. The two-hour lecture will be delivered in Persian and aims to provide a research-based, documented overview of historical trends in the community.
