Today is Anarom Izad, the 30th day in the Zoroastrian calendar, of the month of Mehr, solar calendar

Anniversary of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the three occupying countries in Iran

Today is Anarom Izad, of the month of Mehr, the last of the 5 days of Ayathrem gahanbar, the 4th gahanbar of the year, to celebrate the creation of plants, 30th of Mehr in the year of 3759 Zoroastrian calendar, Sunday, 24th Mehr solar, October 16, 2021.

On Aban 24, 1322 (October 16, 1943), during WW II, the US and British foreign ministers, who were occupying Iran with the Soviet Union, came to Tehran to plan a meeting of the three countries’ leaders.

On October 16 of that year, the foreign ministers of the three occupying countries that occupied Iran came to Tehran to prepare for the Summit of the three countries, allied in the war against Germany and Japan, in the Iranian capital, and then went to Moscow to set the agenda for the discussions. Determining Iran’s post-war fate was also on the agenda of the meeting. According to former Secretary of State Dean Acheson in his diary, the allies agreed in 1941 that until a new constitution could be drafted, Iran would retain its territorial integrity administered by the auspices of the 3-membr board of trustees (representatives of the three countries). At the Summit of the Three Governments in Tehran, which began on November 28, 1943, this decision was annulled.  At the end of the summit, the heads of the three governments stated that repealing the decision guarantees Iran’s territorial integrity, independence, and national sovereignty. There is no comprehensive information, upto this date, on this development. But, it is clear that Roosevelt ad Churchill feared that Stalin would put his hands on Iran and bring it out of the board of trustees, but this conflict would cause an upheaval of the Iranians and then there would be an opportunity to send those help.

The documents that have been published so far indicate that because the three leaders, each based on their national interests, had a different view on Iran’s future and because it was not easy to reach an agreement. It was not expedient to continue the discussion at that time: the war was still going on fiercely, and the outcome was unpredictable; there was no other way but for the political situation in Iran to remain as it was. During this meeting, Mohammad Reza Shah met with the three countries’ leaders for only three minutes to say “welcome.” He took advantage of this brief visit to request that his father be transferred from Mauritius Island to another place due to his ailing health. Churchill accepted and Reza Shah was transferred to Johannesburg in South Africa, where he died.

Historians have written that fears of Stalin’s extravagance led US and British leaders to insist on stabilizing Iran’s political situation and keeping the constitution as it was, without changing it.

Gahambar ceremony is an annual celebration held six times or six Chahreh and each Chahreh for five days. In Zoroastrian belief, the six-faced figure symbolizes the creation of the world and the universe by God in six steps. Gahanbar is the face of this place, the fourth step of creation and celebration after the appearance of plants and plants. The Ayathrem Gahambar is held five days from Eshtad Izad to Anaram Izad based on the Zoroastrian calendar. The solar calendar starts on the 22nd of Mehr and ends on the 24th of Mehr.

Those who live by good thoughts, words, and deeds and fight against lies and impurity will eventually rush to the house of light and joy.

In the Zoroastrian calendar, the year is divided into 12 months with 30 days each, and a name for each day. Today is the thirtieth day of the month of Mehr in the Zoroastrian calendar and is called “Anaram.”

The 13th day of the month, named Aniran or Anarom, means the endless light of the Minoan world. In Avesta: it is “Anghreravocha”. Anaram means “infinite light.”

Equivalent to the teachings of Ashuzartust; Those who live by good thoughts, words, and deeds and fight against lies and impurity will eventually rush to the house of light and happiness, which is full of joy and comfort for them. This state is the last state and the place of endless light. Zoroastrians travel on this day and praise Ahura Mazda for his great creation.
