An innovative Lego design of Persepolis’ Gate of Nations, created by an Iranian artist, has received initial approval from Lego Ideas. This creative project aims to showcase the magnificence of Persepolis and Iranian architectural heritage to the world through the medium of play and creativity. It represents the first phase of a larger effort to rebuild the Persepolis complex using Lego bricks. If it receives the necessary support, it will become an official Lego set — the very first to highlight Iran’s cultural legacy.
Ramtin Farkh-Nejad, the project’s designer, emphasizes that Persepolis is more than a historic monument; it is the pulsating heart of Iran’s historical identity. He believes this is a unique chance for everyone to collectively promote the grandeur of ancient Iran globally — not through politics or censorship, but with Lego bricks. His project for the Gate of Nations, as the initial phase of the extensive Persepolis Lego series, has been accepted on Lego’s official platform and with sufficient support, it could soon become a worldwide Lego set.
