The Zoroastrian Volunteers Group has launched an initiative in Rask County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, providing school supplies and dental care to underprivileged children.
Rostam Nodini told Amordad that the team, made up of both Zoroastrian and non-Zoroastrian Iranians, arrived in Rask on the evening of September 13, 2025, and traveled to the border village of Zardin in Pishin District. The following morning, they began distributing stationery among local children.
The effort is supported by two other groups: AmordadEmdad, which is responsible for dental check-ups and oral health, and Bani Camper, whose followers help with fundraising and school supply distribution. A donor also contributed funds to provide milk and cookies for the children.
On the first day, around 240 stationery packages were handed out. Some were delivered to the school in the nearby village of Goharnak—built last year with the support of Zoroastrians and non-Zoroastrians—where 20 students will benefit.
Dental examinations began on Monday and will continue through Tuesday. Another 210 supply packages are scheduled to be distributed on Wednesday, bringing the total to about 450 packages.
According to Nodini, the project was made possible through donations of roughly 190 million tomans from generous Zoroastrian and non-Zoroastrian benefactors, with Bani Camper playing a central role in gathering contributions.
The Zoroastrian volunteers group comprised Rostam Nodini, Shahin Javanmardi, her husband, and their son, Shah Jamshid Nodini.
Also contributing to the initiative was the Bani Camper group, dedicated to the memory of the late Saeed Elhiyan, son-in-law of Captain Sabeti, under the leadership of Captain Kamran Sabeti. Their team included Keyvan Sabeti, Hossein Khosravi, Amir Haddad Homayoun Farahani, Abbas Kazouki, Mojtaba Talaei, and Masoud Sarlak. The AmordadEmdad group, led by engineer Mohammadreza Derali, also played an active role. Together, the volunteers traveled to Rask with four vehicles.
Nodini expressed his hope that this charitable work would reflect positively on both Iran and the Zoroastrian community, emphasizing that their mission is rooted in good deeds. He further noted that, with the support of the Bani Camper tourism group and recent discussions with the local electricity authority, more promising developments are expected.
According to the report, beginning Friday, September 12, the volunteers will spend twelve days in Rask, providing dental health services and distributing educational packages to schoolchildren.
