Flood damage to Pirsabz exclusive asphalt road

The rainfall on the first day of Amordad of 1401 solar and the intensity of the flood caused the waterlogging of the dedicated road branching off from the main Ardakan-Kharanak road in several places, especially at the beginning of the three-way crossroad, and also caused destruction of the road infrastructure.

The Zoroastrian Chakchak shrine is located in Ardakan district of Yazd, and hosts Zoroastrians from all over the world, every year, at the end of the month of Khordad. This shrine has an exclusive road branching from the main Ardakan-Kharanak road. Unfortunately, this road is located on the path of the floods and runoff of Mount Chekchek, which sometimes causes life and financial risks. During the rain in Amordad this year, the stringency of the flood caused the road to be flooded in several places, especially at the beginning of the three ways, and the road infrastructure was destroyed.

Since the road is in the path of the flood, perhaps by building a few small bridges in several places so that the flood passes under the bridge, it is possible to prevent financial and human losses. Even though the road to the shrine is exclusive, the passage of heavy mining trucks near the shrine causes damage to the road. Due to caving in of the asphalt infrastructure in many spots, during floods, it can become dangerous for the trucks passing by this calling for urgent attention of the road administration in Ardakan, and other officials.
