With view to the importance of reviving its organizational identity a logo has been designed for Yazd Zoroastrian Association.

As informed by Yazd Zoroastrian Association, this is one of the first Zoroastrian associations to design an organizational logo. A logo is a visual expression of an organization or association’s brand. It helps the organization or association to emboss its identity and leave a good first impression.

The symbols in the Yazd Zoroastrian Association logo have meanings that will be discussed below:

  • Petals can be seen in the symbol which are a side view of the lotus flower, and a symbol of fire inside the brazier.
  • Petals can be seen in the symbol, a side view of the lotus flower, and a symbol of fire inside the majesty.
  • The seven petals in the logo refer to the sacred number of seven or the seven Amshaspands (immportals). Also, the general form of the logo is considered to be the fire pit of the fire temples

General description of the logo:

Because everywhere in the world, Zoroastrian identity is connected with Iran and in Iran connected with Yazd, and in Yazd the flag and the most crucial identification indicator of Zoroastrians are Yazd Fire Temple and Varahram fire temple, therefore this symbol was chosen for the Association’s logo, based on this symbol and other religious and Iranian symbols this design was completed. Considering the fact that the era of print focused graphic design is over and technology has opened up tremendous opportunities, for an up-to-date society these prospects should be taken advantage of.

Therefore, the Zoroastrian Association of Yazd has also designed “Logo Motion” animation. Depending on the purpose of the Yazd Zoroastrian Association, this animation is simple movements and a short video presentation of the logo; this logo motion is more than an attention-grabbing tactic, and this logo motion will be used in future videos of Yazd Zoroastrian Association.
