The head of the Isfahan Handicrafts Union announced the official registration of Isfahan’s renowned art of toreutics, marking its recognition with an international geographic designation. Previously, the arts of enameling, art of penmanship, and “Kashi Haftrang” (seven-colored tilework) from Isfahan also received global recognition.
Toreutics, an ancient art with origins dating back to prehistory, remains vibrant, dynamic, and enduring in Iran, particularly in Isfahan, reflecting the artistic creativity of the Iranian people.
