From Home to Parliament

Behshid Barkhordar, the representative of Zoroastrians in the Parliament, has published a report titled “From Home to Parliament,” accompanied by photographs on the Amordad website. This report highlights her invitation to a group of scientific and sports elites from the Zoroastrian community to visit the Majlis and learn about its processes.

The text of Barkhordar’s report, along with the pictures from the visit by the scientific and sports elites of the Zoroastrian community and the youth from the “Gahanbar helpers” group.

From Home to Parliament

A powerful and knowledgeable community can only be built when there are strong families at its core. Families who can rest assured that the power of officials, associations, and organizations is devoted to service rather than the pursuit of power. A society that supports its families will achieve sustainability and success.

It is a fact that educational, recreational, social, and work environments all require a human-based perspective for children who come from families. The satisfaction of students, children, teenagers, and young adults, along with mutual respect and attention to human values, demands appreciative management.

Teaching life skills to children, teenagers, and young adults is no easy task, but if we can achieve this, we fulfill our duty as parents.

The visit to Parliament created an opportunity for a diverse group of co-religionists to become familiar with the Islamic Council and the legislative process. I hope this memorable trip has played a significant role in developing behavioral, social, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

I am grateful for the presence of all the children, adolescents, young adults, their accompanying families, coordinators, and guardians who contributed to making this visit a success.
