Fortunately, we were able to finish the short film; Lakeh, after overcoming difficulties and with the hard work of the film crew.”
This Zoroastrian artist explained about the method of film release and the influence needed for market processing, recognition, and visibility of the product: “I myself was the release of my film, and not having experienced releasers can sometimes cause the film not to be able to enter festivals. Fortunately, I have been able to work it out so far. The film has participated in four international festivals, and we are still waiting to announce the results of other festivals.”
Regarding the impact of the film’s participation in international festivals, he further added: “Lakeh” has entered four international festivals so far, among hundreds and thousands of other movies, and in the future, we hope that it will be able to gain a high position in festivals. Festivals have different rules and genres. The films enter the festivals when the judges approve them in terms of technical and story and other technical and artistic factors that must be implemented in making the film. The judges are famous and successful people in the field of filmmaking. Participation in festivals enables organizers to get to know Iranians involved in producing films, as well as it helps us to get to know other filmmakers from different nations.”
