From Gaza to Tajikistan, from the borders of Egypt and Jordan to the foothills of India, from the ancient arch of Taq Kasra to the historic Panjshir Valley, from Baghdad to Balkh and Mazar-e-Sharif, and from the Turkish frontier to the borders of China, across all of Central Asia and the Persian Gulf—this vast cultural expanse can be envisioned under the unifying banner of the Cultural Renaissance Party of Greater Iran.
While such a vision might seem ambitious or far-fetched in today’s world, it is not an unattainable dream. The idea doesn’t require countless prerequisites or decades of preparation. In truth, this cultural movement already exists—subtly present, continually evolving, and far from dormant. What it needs now is recognition, structure, and a fresh beginning.
The regions encompassed by this vision are home to peoples who take deep pride in their ancient heritage, and who still see themselves as part of a longstanding cultural legacy. Centuries of conflict and division have not erased their shared identity. Instead, these bonds have endured, highlighting a cultural continuity that has outlived empires and borders.
Looking forward, this continuity can serve as a foundation for future unity and cooperation. All that remains is a collective acknowledgment of this cultural kinship—followed by deliberate action to preserve, honor, and expand it for generations to come.
Clearly, we can see humanity’s deadlocks across the world, caused by disagreements, both intentional and unintentional tensions, and conflicts that grow exponentially like a domino effect. The only justification for these issues could be the ancient struggle between Angra Mainyu (the evil spirit) and Spenta Mainyu (the spirit of goodness).
In other words, if innovators and creative minds around the world do not take action and refrain from offering solutions to improve the situation, we will undoubtedly witness a serious and unimaginable renaissance in the near future—one whose signs are already visible. With 850 million hungry people worldwide, 15,000 uncontrollable nuclear warheads, and countless other crises, we cannot ignore the urgency of the matter.
But why a Cultural Renaissance? Because culture does not require territorial expansion. It does not rely on military actions. Cultural work easily transcends borders and has a depth that profoundly impacts human lives in ways that are hard to grasp.
The idea being introduced will be easily embraced, because, as mentioned, we are not attempting to invent or discover something new that requires geniuses like Einstein, Pythagoras, or Khayyam to understand or justify. Rather, we are talking about a phenomenon that already exists, is tangible, and is deeply tied to a living generation—not a lost civilization like the pyramids of Egypt. This cultural renaissance is alive, flowing, and capable of shaping the future of the world.
Our beloved country, Iran, despite its current legal borders being a remnant of the once vast Iranian empire, has been able to preserve its cultural boundaries. Even though its historical and legal borders have been lost, the cultural borders remain intact, and fortunately, we, as the heirs of this great cultural heritage, must remain vigilant and dedicated to preserving and advancing it. By focusing on this cultural identity, we can elevate and strengthen the culture of Greater Iran without interfering in the political affairs of neighboring countries. Through the promotion of scientific and cultural advancements, we can develop and enhance this powerful cultural legacy.
The purpose of this writing, ahead of the establishment of the Cultural Renaissance Party of Greater Iran, is to gather the opinions of friends and experts from the respected Zoroastrian community, as well as Iranians who care about the future of humanity. We seek their guidance as we awaken this powerful and dormant cultural force. Whether they agree with the timing or propose a different course, or share the belief that once again, the world must recognize that Iranians possess visionary ideas and a redemptive purpose, we can collectively work toward ending the ongoing crises that humanity faces.
Countless words can be written on this noble cause and the solutions for humanity’s future, living under the auspices of a strong, ancient, and foundational culture. Experts and readers from our community are invited to take on this responsibility, contributing their thoughts and enriching this grand vision for the future of humankind. The challenges we face today, although very real, should not be the defining feature of humanity’s future over the coming millennia. With the help of thinkers and experts, we will soon open the doors to these deadlocks and begin solving these problems consecutively.
After 20 billion years since the creation of the universe and 9 billion years since the formation of the solar system, humanity is not destined to face perpetual problems. With the help of our scientists, we should be able to live the next tens of thousands of years in peace and prosperity. It is clear that political parties in the country will play an important role in shaping policies, and through collaboration, a strong, visionary, and future-oriented discourse will emerge that will bring progress and satisfaction to many of our fellow citizens and people around the world.
