Behshid Barkhordar, the Zoroastrian representative of Iran in the parliament, along with other representatives of divine religions, condemned the assassination of martyr Ismail Haniyeh and expressed their condolences to the oppressed Palestinian nation.
Below is the text of the condolence message published on 10 Amordad 1403:
“Martyr Ismail Haniyeh was a great example of a righteous and committed individual in the cause of oppressed Palestine. He bravely endeavored to save his countrymen, especially the innocent and defenseless women and children of Palestine. He was martyred on the sacred path of resistance, and we are certain that this holy way will provide a great reward in the afterlife for that brave and noble man.
Undoubtedly, the continuous efforts and struggles of this tireless mujahid will inspire the heroic people and brave fighters of Palestine, including Gaza, and will strengthen and solidify the resistance front in this ongoing struggle.”
We, the representatives of the divine religions in the Islamic Council, while condemning this cowardly assassination, offer our condolences to the oppressed Palestinian nation and all those fighting on the holy path of resistance against the fake and bloodthirsty regime. We pray to God Almighty for mercy upon this high-ranking martyr. May their noble souls rest in God’s mercy.
