Nasrin Khanjari, a Zoroastrian artist, was nominated for the Playwriting Award at the 18th Tehran-Mubarak Puppet Festival in 1399 for her play “The Legend of the Winged Girl.”<\/p>\n

In the playwriting competition section of the 18th Tehran-Mubarak Puppet Festival, seven works were introduced as nominees for the award. The play “The Legend of the Winged Girl,” written by Nasrin Khanjari, a playwright in the field of children and adolescents, is one of the works. One hundred forty-six plays participated in this section. The winners of the playwriting will be announced at the closing ceremony of the festival on March 8th.<\/p>\n

Nasrin Khanjari, a graduate in acting and puppeteering, will play two puppet shows at this festival. She wrote and directed “there is no place for garbage,” and “A Silver Moon Ball” was written by this young lady.<\/p>\n

The puppet show names “There is no place for garbage” will be performed in a “top table” style for teenagers.\u00a0 A table is a stage. Paper dolls, batons, sponges, gloves, muppets is used as an innovative approach to this play.\u00a0 The music of “There is no place for garbage” is composed by farbod Khanizadeh, a Zoroastrian artist, and Partow Kaviani, another Zoroastrian artist, is the stage assistant.<\/p>\n

Cotton puppets will play in “A silver moon ball” in the Children and Adolescents section of the Mubarak Festival, directed by Reyhaneh Baghbadi.<\/p>\n

The 18th Tehran-Mubarak puppet festival has started on 10th of the month of Esfand, and will continue until the 17th, with the help of cyberspace’s capacities.<\/p>\n
