On Thursday morning, 20 Azar 1404 (11 December 2025), the Great Adrian of Tehran hosted a celebration of Arshtat Izad and the Zoroastrian Azar Month 3763, organized by community members and the executive board of the Great Adorian. The ceremony featured the traditional Cheleh table and honored the Cheleh night.<\/p>\n

The event began with a communal prayer for the health and well-being of all attendees, accompanied by Avesta recitation and the \u201cKushti\u201d performed by Mobed Houman Farvahari, with active participation and chanting from the community members.<\/p>\n

Mobed Farvahari then delivered a talk on \u201cPreserving Zoroastrian ceremonies and Culture and the Role of Community Members in Honoring Religious and Cultural Values,\u201d followed by a Q&A session addressing the religious questions of attendees.<\/p>\n

Dr. Negar Bozorgchami, a pharmacy specialist, conducted an interactive session titled \u201cHigh-Risk Medications in Elderly Care: Drug Interactions, Symptoms, Side Effects, Supplements, and Herbal Remedies,\u201d engaging participants in a lively discussion.<\/p>\n

The program continued with stretching, fitness, and corrective exercises led by Fariba Keyghobadi, energizing all attendees. The celebration concluded with the recognition of adolescent students from the Great Adrian\u2019s Gatha-reading classes, who participated in the \u201cKushti\u201d ceremony alongside the Mobeds during the Arshtat Izad ceremony. They were honored with gifts presented by Desh Esfandiar Khosravi and Fariba Keyghobadi in<\/p>\n

The festivities continued with a birthday celebration for those born in the autumn season. Participants lit candles and cut birthday cakes, and Mrs. Bastani presented handwoven white hats to all autumn-born attendees as a gesture of appreciation.<\/p>\n

Mehrangiz Zahabi greeted everyone for Arshtat Day, spoke about the significance and of Cheleh Night, and narrated the story of Sohrab and Gordafarid using verses from the Shahnameh. This was followed by the Chak-Dowleh ceremony, featuring Hafiz recitations and beautiful couplets, performed with the participation of Fariba Rostamifard, Fereydoun Sami, Mahvash Karimdadi, Fereydoun Ardeshiri, and other attendees. Guests were also served traditional Cheleh Night treats, including nuts, watermelons, and pomegranates.<\/p>\n

The celebration continued with a lively gathering of community members, who enjoyed tea, fruit pastries, and warm Ash Reshteh, kindly prepared and provided by Mahvash Karimdadi.<\/p>\n

The program included musical performances and poetry readings by Fereydoun Sami, Anita Irani, Keshvar Kavousi, Mehri Gheibi, Fereydoun Ardeshiri, and Sima Javdani, concluding with a joyful group gathering and commemorative photographs.<\/p>\n

Dadbeh Orangi, secretary and executive board member of the Great Adrian, expressed gratitude to all dignitaries and community members for their participation in the Arshtat Izad and Cheleh Night celebrations. At the close of the event, Orangi offered prayers to Ahura Mazda for the health and well-being of all participants and for peace and security throughout Iran.<\/p>\n
