{"id":160314,"date":"2025-12-01T16:32:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T13:02:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.amordadnews.com\/?p=160314"},"modified":"2025-12-01T16:32:51","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T13:02:51","slug":"jamshidjam-elementary-students-visited-the-armenian-ethnographic-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.amordadnews.com\/?p=160314","title":{"rendered":"Jamshidjam Elementary Students Visited the Armenian Ethnographic Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students from the upper grades of Jamshidjam Elementary School visited the Armenian Ethnographic Museum to gain insight into other faiths and cultures.<\/p>\n<p>During their tour of the Archbishop Ardak Manoukian Museum\u2014also known as the Armenian National and Ethnographic Museum\u2014the students learned firsthand about Armenian customs, traditions, and religious practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Armenian Ethnographic Museum<\/strong><br \/>\nLocated beside Saint Mary Church on Mirza Kouchak Khan Street in Tehran, the museum is directed by Alice Shahmoradian. Its extensive collection includes historical garments, handwritten books, paintings, photographs, and even an antique candle-making device. Visitors can view the robes of Archbishop Ardak Manoukian and his attendants, traditional bridal and everyday outfits, children\u2019s clothing, old banknotes, donated jewelry, a centuries-old worn carpet, and antique silverware once used in Armenian households.<\/p>\n<p>Jamshidjam Elementary School, one of six schools operated by the Tehran Zoroastrian Association, was founded in 1906.
