Over the years, I have dedicated my career to promoting sustainable agriculture and strengthening the nation’s food security. My professional journey reflects a deep commitment to development, innovation, and leadership across various sectors:

CEO and Vice Chairman of Noavaran Pars Agricultural Development Co.

CEO and Chairman of Pishro Bazr Iranian Co.

Deputy CEO at the National Oilseed Development Company

Official representative of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture in the National Agricultural Input Supply Committee

University lecturer specializing in agriculture, sustainable development, and food industry

Member of the International Consultative Group for Research on Oilseeds (GCIRC)

Author of four scientific and applied books

Member of the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA)

Executive manager responsible for the annual production of thousands of tons of scientifically enhanced seeds

Alongside my professional endeavors, I have remained deeply engaged with the cultural and social institutions of the Zoroastrian community. My past responsibilities include serving as the head of the Executive Council of the Zoroastrian House of Culture and Arts in Tehran during the post-COVID period, as well as being an active member of the Parent-Teacher Associations at Jamshid Jam, Giv, and Rostam Abadian schools.

Yesterday’s Experience, Today’s Strategy, Tomorrow’s Change

In today’s world—where societies are more than ever in need of accountable, transparent, and effective structures—I firmly believe that the Tehran Zoroastrian Association must set a standard for ethical, science-based, and participatory leadership. This belief is not just a personal ideal; it is shaped by more than three decades of hands-on experience across executive, academic, and community spheres.

With a clear understanding of the Association’s strengths and the challenges it faces, I believe the time has come to rethink and reform its executive, financial, and organizational frameworks. We must move toward a structure that is built on professional expertise, financial transparency, and clear accountability. The Board of Directors must evolve from a ceremonial role into a strategic center that drives meaningful action. Financial operations should be lawful, transparent, and reportable to the community in a straightforward manner.

True and lasting renewal cannot be achieved without rebuilding our community’s social capital and strengthening participation. This requires encouraging greater involvement from youth and women, reviving a culture of open dialogue and mutual respect, and forming advisory councils to ensure diverse voices are heard in shaping our collective future.

Social issues, especially in the area of health, require a structured approach. Establishing a Zoroastrian Health Center, improving services at the Yeganeh Clinic, and supporting the elderly and those in need—through the Association’s resources and the help of benefactors—are among my proposed initiatives.

Other key priorities include ensuring financial sustainability, making proper use of the Association’s facilities, strengthening ties with regional associations, avoiding overlapping activities, and engaging the expertise of Zoroastrians abroad.

With belief, experience, and strong motivation, I am committed to building a professional, transparent, and lasting foundation to support the community’s future.

To all who care about a better tomorrow for our community, I extend my hand in cooperation.

Kambiz Forouzan
Candidate for the Board of Directors, 46th Session

Tehran Zoroastrian Association

Meet Kambiz Forouzan, a candidate in 46th Session Board of Directors election of the Tehran Zoroastrian Association: I am Kambiz Forouzan, born in 1969 in Tehran, and hold a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering.
