In a serene and prayerful atmosphere, worshippers recited traditional prayers, asking Ahura Mazda for health and well-being for themselves, their loved ones, and all humanity.<\/p>\n<p>Every year, from Sepandarmad Day to Azar Day in the month of Tir on the Zoroastrian calendar (corresponding to June 23\u201327), Zoroastrians from across Iran and around the world make the journey to this sacred site. The five-day pilgrimage includes prayers, the observance of ancient customs, and joyful celebrations of faith and community.<\/p>\n<p>Pir-e Narestaneh is located in a shallow valley in the village of Dorbid, 31 kilometers east of Yazd, nestled in the highlands.
