As in previous years, the shrine will serve as a spiritual gathering place for the Zoroastrian community.<\/p>\n<p>The Sharifabad Zoroastrian Association has encouraged pilgrims to come together in prayer at this sacred site, offering devotion to <strong>Ahura Mazda<\/strong> for the prosperity of Iran and the health and well-being of all Iranians.<\/p>\n<p>This year, with the pilgrimage coinciding with the Islamic month of Muharram, the association has requested that visitors observe respectful conduct in keeping with the broader cultural context.<\/p>\n<p>Located at the foot of a mountain near the southern edge of Aqda \u2014 approximately 112 kilometers southwest of Yazd \u2014 the Pars Banoo shrine is a revered <em>pirangah<\/em> (pilgrimage site). The main period of pilgrimage traditionally spans from <strong>July 4 to July 8<\/strong> (13\u201317 Tir).
