The first death anniversary of the late Shah Bahram Rostami, son of Banoo and Mobed Khodadad Rostam shahmardan, was held in the Zoroastrian fire temple of Kerman.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ceremony started with recitation of Avesta by Mobed Human Fravahari and Mobed Vishtasb Mobedshahi. Then, Mobed Fravahari spoke about the high sense of responsibility that the late Shah bahram Rostami always showed and his valuable services during his fruitful life. He then requested Dr Arash Ziatabari, who was Rostami’s co-member in the 18th cycle of the Zoroastrian anjuman, to give a speech. After presenting a history of the Zoroastrian Association, Dr Ziatabari said that the late Rostami was member of the Association for 5 periods, and at least in two other periods he closely cooperated with the Association. During the period when eng. Sirous Fravahari was president, he was his deputy, and for one period he held the honorary position in the secretariat of the Association. During his tenure he revived many endowed properties, including, the Qanataghastan, Dakhmeh, Shah Vahman Amshaspand shrine.<\/p>\n

Shah Bahram Rostami invited many predecessors, for example, Mrs Farangis Ravari, to identify and determine the boundaries of the endowments. He also spoke about memories of his business trips with Ravanshad Shah Bahram and about his efforts in buying the ambulance and problems they incurred in this process.<\/p>\n

Shah Bahram was the first head of the Naseriyeh branch of Bank Melli in Kerman, and towards the end of his service, he became head of the credit department of Bank Melli. He was also a member of the Bank Melli football team in Kerman. His wife, Mahin Banoo Oshidari, is the daughter of Ardeshir Oshidari, and they share four children by the names of Dariush, Dadmehr, Homa, and Dadfar, and eight grandchildren. He has acted as a greybeard in family matters and personal lawsuits and has been a confident of many people in the community.<\/p>\n
