The Yazd Zoroastrian fire temple is one of the most tourist-visited sites in the world heritage city of Yazd.\u00a0 Especially during Nowruz, it is full of Nowruz guests.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Yazd fire temple is one of the valuable heritages of zoroastrianism, which has preserved the holy fire of Verahram (Bahram) in itself. This fire was a flame taken from the Karian fire temple (Fars fire temple) in Fars province, and is one of the three great fire temples of the Sassanid period.\u00a0 Its fire, which was kept lit for many, many years, is now kept in the Yazd Fire temple.<\/p>\n

This fire temple was built in 1934, with the donation of a Iranian\/Indian Zoroastrian named Homabai, on land donated by a number of Zoroastrian donors, including the Amanat brothers, in the name of their father, Ardeshir Rostam amanat. The Varjavand Hall of this fire temple, which has been converted into an exhibition of Zoroastrian customs, today displays and introduces customs such as weddings, Zoroastrian prayers, the Navjote ceremony, the Nowruz table, etc. The entrance to the aqueduct (qanat) stairs and the aqueduct canal are other spectacular parts of the Yazd fire temple. Like other Zoroastrian shrines, entering the shrine is associated with special rituals for worshipers, such as cleanliness and the wearing of white hats and scarves for men and women.<\/p>\n

The Yazd Fire Temple is located in the center of Yazd Province, on Ayatollah Kashani Street in the fire temple Alley. This structure has been registered in the list of national heritages of Iran, on September 13, 1999, under No. 2431. With the planning and coordination of the Yazd Zoroastrian Association, visitors can visit this historic shrine every day from 7:30 to 21:30. Visiting historical and ancient monuments is one of the Iranian Nowruz programs. Regard preserving and not damaging these valuable monuments that have been remembered for a long time so that future generations will not be deprived of these treasures of Iranian art, culture, and civilization.
