The Taft Zoroastrian Association, resident in Tehran, held the ceremony of Paytah Shahim Gah Gahanbar without in-person gathering.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ceremony of Afarinegan, recitation of Gahanbar at the end of summer by the name of Hamarvanan on the day of Anaram Izad, was held on the last day of the five days of Gahanbar, equal to Thursday, Shahrivar 25, 1400, with the Avesta recitation of mobed Farhang Ziatabari. Gahanbar is a ceremony and celebration that has been held for a long time in the cultural geography of Iran, a ceremony whose basic theme is gathering, harmony, unity, and joy.\u00a0 It is believed that the 3rd Paytah Shahim Gah Gahanbar means the end of summer. Zoroastrians believe that the third Paytah Shahim Gah Gahanbar is the time of the creation of the “earth” by God, and the rituals of this Gahanbar are held like other Gahanbars. In Zoroastrian villages, the gahanbar table is laid out with symbolic objects and food on them. This ceremony is held every day in a different household. The time of this five-day celebration from Arshtat Izad to Anaram Izad in the Zoroastrian calendar is equal to 21 to 25 Shahrivar in the official calendar of the country.<\/p>\n
