A ceremony honoring Mother’s Day and the ancient festival of Esfandgan, were held at the Jahandidegan Parvaresh center, attended by representatives and specialists from the Yazd Welfare Organization.
The event was held on Tuesday, 28 Bahman 1404 (February 17, 2026), with the aim of celebrating the role of mothers and observing the longstanding tradition of Esfandgan. The gathering unfolded in a warm and supportive atmosphere, with the presence of Shahrokh Bastani, director of the Mehravaran Yesna Kavir Yazd Institute, and the active participation of the center’s staff and members. Gifts from the Welfare Organization were presented to the elderly residents.
The Jahandidegan Parvaresh Center is the first 24-hour residential rehabilitation home dedicated to Zoroastrian seniors in Yazd Province. It officially commenced operations in Mehr 1402 (October 2023) following staff recruitment and the admission of residents.
Kharman Khosraviani serves as the technical director of the center, and the Mehravaran Yesna Kavir Yazd Institute holds its official license.
