Newly admitted undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the Zoroastrian Association of Taft and its surrounding areas, residing in Tehran, were honored during the Morning Chehre of the Maidhyarem Gahambar.
The ceremony recognized Ronika Danesh, admitted to the Industrial Engineering program at Alzahra University; Nairika Danesh, admitted to the Architecture program at National University; Maharat Shariati; Aria Jamshidian Mobarakeh, admitted to the master’s program in Computer Networks at Khatam University; Arman Jamshidian Mobarakeh, admitted to the undergraduate Computer Engineering program at Tehran University Center; Arin Jamshidi, admitted to the undergraduate Aerospace Engineering program at Khajeh Nasir University; and Airin Khosraviani, admitted to the Computer Engineering program at Tehran University West. All honorees are members of the Zoroastrian Association of Taft and its surrounding areas residing in Tehran.
The Maidhyarem Gahambar ceremony was held on the day of Rashn Izad in the month of Dey, year 3763 of the Zoroastrian calendar, corresponding to Friday, January 1, 2025 (12 Dey 1403), at Narges House. Selected passages from the Avesta were recited in memory of departed souls in two sessions, held before noon and in the afternoon. Participants also visited an exhibition showcasing cultural and artistic achievements.
