Avestakhani ceremony on the occasion of Ordibehesht day of the month of Dey was held by the Adrian management group of Tehran (Mobeds Association – Tehran Zoroastrian Association).
On the auspicious Day of Ordibehesht in the month of Dey, 3763 in the Zoroastrian calendar (Thursday, 27 Azar 1404 / December 18, 2025), community members gathered at 17:30. After renewing the Kusti, participants recited the Ordibehesht Yasht and the Fire Prayer under the guidance of Mobeds Kourosh Bolandi, Hormoz Khosravyani, Sarvar Tarapourvala, Farhang Ziyatbari, and Pedram Soroushpour, who later delivered a speech to the attendees.
Traditional entertainment was offered by Mehran Sepehri, Ardavan Sepehri, and Nariman Sepehri in memory of the late Iraj Sepehri and Parvin Soroushian.
In the Zoroastrian calendar, Ordibehesht is the third day of the month, dedicated to the Amshaspand Ordibehesht, symbolizing truth, righteousness, and piety as attributes of Ahura Mazda. It is also considered the cosmic guardian of fire.
