The Mantra Students Association held a lively event at the Zoroastrian Hall of Maryamabad to honor and celebrate newly admitted university students.
The program opened with the recitation of Gathas from Yasna by Yasna Behzad and Asha Mali. Speeches followed by Mobed Dr. Mehraban Pouladi, Head of the Mobeds Association; Kourosh Rashidi, Head of the Zoroastrian Association of Yazd; and Mahyar Bemani, Secretary of the Mantra Students Association, offered congratulations and words of encouragement to the new students.
Association members also paid tribute to the late Anahita Zandi, a recently departed member, by carrying her photo in a ceremonial procession.
The event featured a variety of performances and presentations, including an introduction video of the association, a musical performance by the Sarv Group in collaboration with Nazshid Music Academy under the direction of Keynaz Yazdani, choreographed dance performances led by Nika Afkham, a slideshow showcasing the association’s past activities, and interactive competitions.
The celebration took place on the evening of Thursday, 22 Aban 1404 (November 13, 2025), beginning at 18:30, and was hosted by Nika Afkham and Afshin Tashakor, bringing together students and community members to welcome the new university entrants.
