The Zoroastrian Association of Tehran has released details regarding the schedule of the Afarinegan recitation at Iraj Hall and outlined ways for community members to contribute to the proper organization of the memorial ceremony for Ashu Zarathushtra.
According to the announcement, the memorial of Ashu Zarathushtra’s passing will be observed on Khwar Izad day of Dey month, corresponding to Friday, 5 Dey 1404 (December 26, 2025), as follows:
- Afarinegan recitation and religious lecture: beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Iraj Hall
- Religious ceremony: beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Qasre Firuzeh Cemetery
The association has invited Zoroastrian followers who wish to assist financially with the event to make their donations by Wednesday, 3 Dey 1404 (December 24, 2025), between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., at the office of the Zoroastrian Association of Tehran, where receipts will be issued.

Furthermore, the association has invited Zoroastrians interested in helping with the arrangements to participate in preparatory efforts at the Adorian Fire Temple of Tehran on Wednesday, 3 Dey 1404, and Thursday, 4 Dey 1404, from 9:30 a.m. onward.
