Attacking Symbols of Iranian Heritage

For years, Iranian culture and its symbols have been misused by television, streaming, and online programs. The latest example is the show “Bazmande”, hosted by Siamak Ansari and Mehran Ghafourian, where participants were asked to throw stones at a puzzle depicting iconic Iranian symbols, including Persepolis column capitals and the Kaveh Flag.

This has once again drawn the ire of history and culture enthusiasts, who see such acts as disrespectful to a heritage that has long faced mockery. Instead of educating audiences about protecting cultural landmarks, some program makers undermine the foundations of Iran’s civilization. Whether this comes from ignorance or deliberate intent, it is crucial to hold such producers accountable to prevent further cultural harm.
