On the occasion of the Mehergan festival, a gathering to present gifts and show appreciation to the teachers and students of Kerman’s religious classes was held on 1 Mehr 1404 (October 1, 2025) at the Kerman Fire Temple Hall.
The event began at 3:00 PM with Mobedyar Mehrzad Kaviani reciting verses from the Gathas. Special recognition was given to Sima Kiani, former director of the religious classes, who could not attend due to personal reasons; a plaque of appreciation was presented on her behalf by Jahangir Forouhar, the Association’s deputy. Arshin Bakhtiari was introduced as the new director of the classes.
Teachers were honored with copper cups, and students received gift cards and plaques. A commemorative photo concluded the ceremony. The gift cards were kindly provided by Fereydun Zartoshti, Iraj Izadi, Dinyar Kaviani, and the Kerman Zoroastrian Association.
