The Fravahar Organization officially launched its 1404–1405 academic year of Zoroastrian religious classes with a ceremony on Thursday, Mehr 3, 1404.
Students were welcomed to the Zoroastrian Youth Organization building with rosewater and a mirror, following a traditional custom.
The program included remarks from Mobed Pedram Soroushpour, Mehrtash Mehroziad, head of the Fravahar Organization, and Afshin Namiranian, chair of the Tehran Zoroastrian Association.
Highlights of the ceremony featured a performance by the Fravahar Organization’s daf ensemble, directed by Arash Chehelmard, along with games and entertainment. The event was organized by Hourshid Nikfam.
