This week, the children of Parvaresh Kindergarten celebrated the traditional festival of Mehregan and paid a special visit to a local fire station in honor of Firefighters’ Day.
In celebration of Mehregan, which falls on Mehr 10, the children took part in joyful ceremonies on Mehr 9, 1404, learning about the history and significance of this ancient festival. The activities introduced them to the customs and cultural heritage associated with Mehregan.
Exploring Firefighters’ Work
To mark Firefighters’ Day, observed on Mehr 7, the children visited Fire Station No. 7 on Aban Street on Tuesday, Mehr 8. They had the opportunity to see fire trucks and firefighting equipment up close and learn about the important work firefighters do to keep the community safe.
