Zoroastrian High School Religious Classes Reopen at Marker Campus, Yazd

On Thursday afternoon, Mehr 3, 1404, religious classes for Zoroastrian high school students in Yazd province officially resumed at the Marker Campus.

The reopening, organized by the Religious Commission, included both junior and senior high school students and began at 3:15 p.m. Fereydoun Keshmiri, head of the Religious Commission, welcomed the students, followed by a speech from Mobed Dr. Mehraban Pouladi, head of the Mobeds Association.

The ceremony featured the recitation of the essential Avesta and the ritual of renewing the Kusti, along with a special Avesta prayer for the health and recovery of a young Zoroastrian mother. Gratitude was also expressed to Mobed Mehraban Afarin, former head of the Yazd Zoroastrian Religious Commission.

After the formalities, students joined their teachers in classrooms, marking the official start of religious studies for the 1404–1405 academic year.
