The Kerman Mathematics House has unveiled a permanent exhibition dedicated to the works of the renowned Zoroastrian mathematician and author, Professor Parviz Shahriari. This cultural and scientific initiative honors his legacy and keeps his memory alive in his hometown.
The exhibition was inaugurated on Monday afternoon, Shahrivar 10, 1404 (September 1, 2025), through the joint efforts of the Kerman Province Elite Foundation and the Kerman Mathematics House.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Shahryar Shahriari, the professor’s son, delivered an online address thanking the organizers for their efforts. Additional remarks were made by Dr. Mehdi Rajabali-Pour, head of the Kerman Mathematics House, and Dr. Omidali Shahni Karamzadeh, a senior figure in mathematics, both highlighting Professor Shahriari’s scholarly and human legacy.
The ribbon-cutting, performed by Dr. Karamzadeh, marked the official launch of the exhibition. Participants, including members of the Zoroastrian community, toured the collection and took commemorative photos.
