Yasna kindergarten hosted a gahanbar toji gathering, held to pray for the health and wellbeing of all Zoroastrians.
The event took place on Sunday, 5th of Amordad 1404 (July 27, 2025), led by Mobed Ardeshir Bazadeh and supported by the generosity of Adrian’s family—Rozita Manouchehri and Houshang Yazdani. The children actively took part in the occasion, offering prayers to Ahura Mazda.
Yasna Kindergarten is the only Zoroastrian preschool in Yazd Province, with over ten years of experience in early childhood education. It is currently directed by Andia Namdari.
Gahanbars, beyond their spiritual meaning, serve as important moments of togetherness for the Zoroastrian community. They bring people together in shared prayers, joy, generosity, and unity. Traditionally, six Gahanbars are observed throughout the year, each lasting five days and symbolizing the six stages of creation according to Zoroastrian belief. When such a gathering is held outside of these six periods, it is known as Gahanbar Toji.
