Members of the Gohar Hemmati House released “Tir-o-Bad” bracelets into the wind at Fathabad Garden in Kerman.
The Gohar Hemmati House gathering took place at 4:00 PM on Thursday, 19 Tir 1404 (July 10, 2025), coinciding with Bada Izad day in the Tir month of the Zoroastrian calendar, at Fathabad Garden, Kerman. Travel and entrance costs were kindly covered by the Ardeshir Hemmati Foundation. The spirits of Ardeshir Hemmati and his wife Gohar Hemmati are remembered with peace and joy.
During the ceremony, participants joyfully released the Tir-o-Bad bracelets to the wind while singing the chant:
“Tir boro bad bia / Gham boro shadi bia / Mehnat boro roozi bia / Sandogh morvari bia”
(“Tir, blow the wind come / Grief, leave, joy come / Hardship, leave, fortune come / Pearl chest, come”)
The event continued with the “Chek-o-Doleh” tradition, featuring heartfelt couplets performed by Nahid Nikdin and symbolic items presented by Dorsa Kianpour, revealing the intentions behind the ceremony.
