Delsa Kavoosi Zeinabad emerged victorious in the children’s category of the Yazd Neighborhood Sports Olympiad, earning the championship title with an outstanding performance in swimming.
The event, designed to identify and nurture athletic talent across Yazd’s neighborhoods, featured competitions in seven age categories for children and adolescents. Competing in the under-six age group, Delsa—a Zoroastrian swimmer—clinched the gold medal and secured first place.
She is the daughter of Firouzeh Manouchehri and Arian Kavoosi Zeinabad, a sports-oriented family that played a key role in supporting her achievement.
The swimming competitions were part of the 12th edition of the Yazd Neighborhood Sports Olympiad and took place on Friday, April 18, 2025 (29 Farvardin 1404), at the 22 Bahman Swimming Complex. The event was organized in collaboration with the Yazd Municipality and the Provincial Aquatic Sports Board.
