Academic Year Closing Ceremony at the Zoroastrian Center of California

The Zoroastrian Center of California (Orange County) recently marked the conclusion of its academic year with a festive celebration.

The event commenced on Sunday, June 8, 2025 (18 Khordad 1404), at 10 a.m. with the introduction of students from various classes, and wrapped up at 2 p.m. with a captivating magic show.

Students were presented with certificates recognizing their successful completion of courses. The center also expressed heartfelt thanks to the teachers and all those who supported the smooth operation of classes throughout the year. A special farewell was held for Ms. Adeleh, a longtime educator who has dedicated years to familiarizing young generations with Iranian history and culture. She has now passed on her teaching role to others. The education team honored her invaluable contributions with a commemorative plaque.

The Zoroastrian Center offers a variety of educational programs, including Persian language classes for different age groups, Avesta studies, Shahnameh reading sessions, and courses on Iranian history and culture. In addition, weekly fun and educational sessions for young children engage them with Persian poetry, music, drawing, and theater to nurture their Iranian heritage.
