Dr. Farshid Akhtari, a Zoroastrian dental surgeon, was among the featured speakers at EXCIDA 2025, Iran’s largest annual dental event. His presentation, titled “Ridge Split Surgery,” took place on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the cinema hall of Iran Mall and was also broadcast via Telegram for remote attendees.
EXCIDA 2025, the 64th annual congress of the Iranian Dental Association, ran from Tuesday, May 27 to Friday, May 30, bringing together over 7,000 dental professionals from across the country at the Iran Mall International Exhibition Center in Tehran.
Dr. Akhtari was admitted to Shahid Beheshti University in 1993, ranking 103 nationally, and earned his general dentistry degree in 1998. He practiced general dentistry until 2004, after which he pursued advanced training in implantology. That same year, he received his implant certificate from Dentsply, USA, and has since focused his career on implant dentistry.
