The recent installation of the 16-meter bronze statue of Arash the Archer, a legendary figure symbolizing sacrifice and defense of Iran’s borders, at Vanak Square in Tehran has been warmly welcomed by the public. Social media users have praised it as a meaningful tribute to Iran’s rich history and culture.
Crafted by the acclaimed Iranian artist Iraj Mohammadi, the statue stands atop an 8-meter base featuring unique artistic design.
Mehdi Pirhadi, head of Tehran City Council’s Health, Environment, and Urban Services Commission, called this statue one of the finest national monuments created in recent years under the current city administration.
The statue will be officially unveiled in the near future.
