Behshad Farzaneh, a Zoroastrian athlete, has been appointed as the president of the Khokho Island Association in Kish by the president of the Rural Sports and Local Games Federation.
According to a report by Borna News Agency, Behshad Farzaneh was officially appointed as the president of the Khokho Island Association by Mohammad Saqibfard, the head of the Rural Sports and Local Games Federation of Kish Island.
The inauguration ceremony for Behshad Farzaneh as the new president was held on Wednesday, the 6th of Farvardin 1404.

Engineer Behshad Farzaneh introduced herself as follows:
“I hold a master’s degree in civil engineering. I am the CEO, founder, and owner of Noor Tehran Office Holding (Farzaneh Brothers), with four branches in Tehran, Kish, Amol, and Kerman, as well as an international branch in Dubai. Alongside this, I also serve as the Deputy President and President of the Board of Directors at the Avaye Taraneh Farzaneh Cultural and Artistic Institute, which holds an official license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. My involvement in these two companies, managed by myself and my elder brother Dr. Ramshad Farzaneh, has helped create the foundation for the growth and development of sports on Kish Island.”
Behshad Farzaneh Talks About His Appointment as President of the Khokho Island Association in Kish
Behshad Farzaneh, the newly appointed president of the Khokho Island Association in Kish, explained how he was chosen for this position:
“Earlier, I served for two years as the treasurer of the Kung Fu Association. Based on my experience and background, my colleagues and the president of the Rural Sports and Local Games Federation of Kish Island, who kindly supported me, recommended me for the role of president of the Khokho Island Association. As I am passionate about expanding sports culture, especially this thrilling sport, in Kish Island and the country, I gladly accepted this responsibility. It’s also worth noting that my brother, Ramshad Farzaneh, is a board member of the Khokho Iran Association and the manager of the national teams for Khokho Iran.”
Future Plans for the Khokho Island Association
Behshad Farzaneh shared his vision for the association under his leadership:
“With our support, the Khokho Iran national team participated in the 2025 World Championship in New Delhi, India, where they earned third place. We also organized a friendly match between the Koko Iran and Khokho India national teams, hosted and sponsored by Farzaneh Brothers Holding in Kish Island. We have planned a grand reception for the Indian national team, and we are currently working on setting up a gym with high-quality tatami mats and specialized equipment to ensure we provide top-notch facilities for both Iranian and Indian national teams.”
