Candle and Langari ceremony was held as part of the memorial ceremony at Marker Tehranpars religious and cultural center.
During this ceremony, participants who had previously registered to commemorate their departed ones on the 1st day of Farvardin gathered at their designated tables. They placed a tray of candles and a photograph of the deceased on the table, decorating it as they welcomed their guests.
The Candle and Langari Ceremony is a tradition observed during the Si-roozeh (thirtieth-day remembrance) memorial. It involves lighting thirty candles on a tray and carrying it to the home of the deceased, accompanied by music and singing.
With the support of a group of benefactors and the Markar Tehranpars Executive Committee, the Jasabz Bad ceremony took place on Ohrmazd day of Farvardin month, 3763 Zoroastrian calendar, corresponding to Friday, Farvardin 1, 1404 (March 21, 2025), from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Markar Tehranpars Center.
