The Zoroastrian Community of Yazd, in partnership with the Zoroastrian Youth Club and Organization, organized a ceremony to mark the death anniversary of Ashu Zarathushtra.
Held on Wednesday, 5 Dey 1403 (December 26, 2024), at 11:00 AM, the event took place at the Zoroastrian Youth Club and Organization in Yazd. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Avesta by Mobeds Rostam Kavousianzadeh and Khodamrad Ganji. Following the recitation, speeches were given by Behshid Barkhordar, the Zoroastrian representative in the Iranian Parliament, Kourosh Rashidi, president of the Zoroastrian Association in Yazd, Mobed Fariba Mali, and Mehrdad Khosraviani, the cultural officers of the Zoroastrian Association in Yazd.
The event concluded with a meal for the participants.
