On Thursday morning, experts from Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts visited Mazraeh-ye Kalantar, a designated target village for tourism.
The Zoroastrian Association of Yazd and the residents of Mazraeh-ye Kalantar hosted cultural heritage and tourism experts from Tehran, alongside the city’s head, Mr. Zulfaqari, on the morning of Aban 10, 1403 (30th October 2024).
Previously, Homa Khorshidi, acting deputy director of Tourism for Yazd Province’s General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, announced that the villages of Bagherabad Bafq, Kalantar Meybod, and Fahraj Yazd had been introduced as eligible candidates to join the global network of villages recognized by the World Tourism Organization.
