Ali Asghar Kamalizadeh, the mayor of Tehran’s District 4, conducted a visit to Rostam Bagh. As reported by Amordad, on Thursday, Tir 20, 1403 (July 10, 2024), Ali Asghar Kamalizadeh, accompanied by Afshin Namiraniyan, the head of the Zoroastrian Society of Tehran, Shahram Sirousi, the treasurer of the association, Jamshid Gharibshahi, a member of the Guiv Endowment board, and Mehran Tirandazian, a former member of the Zoroastrian Society of Tehran, toured the Guiv Endowment and the Rostam Bagh complex. Farrokhzad Ardeshiryan, the head of the Guiv Endowment, briefed the mayor on the endowment’s conditions, highlighting its reliance on rental income, which is limited due to low rents. He emphasized the need for support in maintaining asphalt, reconstruction, and green space upkeep.
Rostam Bagh, situated in Tehranpars, houses the Adrian (fire temple), a library, a conference hall for religious ceremonies, and over 90 residential buildings designated for Zoroastrian families, all donated in honor of Guiv Master Rostam by philanthropists. The management of this complex falls under the responsibility of the Guiv Endowment’s board of trustees.
