The Assembly of Asian Mayors has officially introduced its environmental, cultural, and tourism capitals for 2024. Shiraz and Hamedan from Iran are selected among these cities.
Shiraz was chosen as the environmental capital, Hamedan as the tourism capital, and Ghobeiry City (Lebanon) as the cultural capital by the Asian Mayors’ Assembly in 2024.
These three cities were chosen from among the member cities after the publication of the call and the review of the received applications.
According to the website report, the mayors of these three cities have been officially informed of the selection of their cities.
Also, on January 6, 1402, Yazd was chosen as the tourism capital of member countries of the Asian Dialogue Forum (ACD).
The three cities of Kerman, Yazd and Mashhad were announced as candidates. After examining the desired indicators, Yazd City was selected and introduced as the tourism capital of the Asian Dialogue Forum (ACD) member countries in 2024.
