The ceremony of reciting Ab-Zohr (Avesta) was held on Aban day of Ordibehesht month, in the “Kadkhoda” backyard of Verahram fire temple of Yazd.
On Saturday, Ordibehsht 9, 1402 (April 30, 2023), equal to Aban and Ordibehsht, 3761 Zoroastrianism, at 5:00 p.m., Mobed Fariba Mali recited Avesta. After Avesta khani, Mobed Mali gave a speech about heaven and hell and life after death, the book of “Ardavirafnameh” and how it was written and invited the participants to borrow books on related subjects by becoming member of the Yazd Zoroastrian Library and increase their religious and history knowledge. At the same time as the ceremony was held, children and teenagers played and had fun in the Zoroastrian Library of Yazd (Banoo and Keykhosrow Bozorgchami) in cooperation with Atousa Yazdani. At the end of the ceremony a reception was held for the participants.
