This year, as in previous years, in coordination with Yazd Zoroastrian association, the empathy project for blood donation was implemented.
According to the Yazd Zoroastrians Association, every year during the month of Ramadan, due to the lack of blood and its need, Yazd Zoroastrians try to help their fellow countrymen by participating in the blood transfusion and blood donation organization as an “empathy project” in the last days of this month. This year, this project was held with the cooperation of a group of fellow believers in the Blood Transfusion Organization, at 9 am, on Wednesday, 20th Farvardin 1402 (21 April 2023), equal to Anarom Izad day of Farvardin month 3761 (Zoroastrian calendar).
This plan has been implemented for nearly a decade following the coordination of the Yazd Zoroastrian Association with the Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization. This can be considered as a sign of peaceful co-existence of different religions in Yazd.
Interested persons are invited to participate in this humanitarian project, in the coming days, by visiting the Blood Transfusion Organization, at Abuzar Square, and donating blood.
