The Mobedan Association and the Zoroastrian Association of Tehran signed a memorandum of cooperation with the goal of coordination and cooperation for optimal management of the religious-cultural and executive affairs of the Tehran Fire Temple.
This agreement is for over-looking the religious responsibilities of the mobeds and keeping the holy fire, as well as managing the executive affairs of the Adorian, i.e., holding religious ceremonies.
According to the report of the public relations of Tehran Zoroastrian association, following this memorandum, a group of representatives of the Mobedan Association and the Cultural Commission of Tehran Zoroastrian Association will hold brainstorming meetings to plan the clauses mentioned in the memorandum. Duration of this agreement is one year, which can be terminated or extended with the agreement of both parties.
Earlier and in the past years, such memorandums have been established between Tehran Zoroastrian Association and Mobedan Association for the efficient management of the Tehran fire temple and to respond to needs of the Zoroastrian population.
